I've been living with Congestive Heart Failure in silence just keep it between me, my doctor, and I used to talk to my husband about it but he is tired of hearing it I'm sure 😊. I also have Type 2 Diabetes, I had a stroke in 2010 (28 yrs old) that paralyzed the right side of my body. And needless to say I have been obese since I was around 8 years old. But on more of a positive note I am doing so much better than I was 4 years ago!

Good Morning, Cloud - just wanted to send you a very big welcome to the forum. You'll find lots of interesting information here and some really lovely, kind and helpful people. I joined two years ago after a heart attack and triple bypass. It's also a really nice place to get things off your chest when you don't feel able to talk to anyone else. You can share happy times and not so happy times without any worries and be assured of support from everyone. Look on it as as your own little club where no-one gets fed up with listening to us talk 😊 It's so good to read that you're doing much better than you did 4 years ago, I'm feeling much better too! 😀👍 Carol xox

Hi and welcome. I’ve been living with it for 21 yrs now and have told lots of people😀most probably they think I’m chatting rubbish because I’m still here and many of my friends have died. I’m still fighting on with all the meds and equipment given to me. Mine was caused by dilated cardiomyopathy which is now severe.

I am so glad you’re doing much better considering what you’ve been through and is still going through.
