Scared

CA 6yrs ago, afib started 3yrs ago, 5 cardioversions, 2 ablations, 3 weeks ago my ICD kicked in again at night, thought it was a dreadful nightmare but it was real. no driving again for 6 months, blood tests, Cardiac MRI next week, 24 hrs heart monitor early June, taken off bisoprolol 20mg now on sotatol 160mg.It feels so scary as they don't know why this Is happening

You have been through an awful lot and I can understand why this now feels scary especially as they are not sure what is happening but they will work it out I am sure and I hope others that may have found themselves in a similar situation will reply to you

So sorry you are going through this.It sounds like they are looking after you.Is the change of medicines helping you?Before I had my aortic valve replacement I had very scary nights and strange heart rhythms.Hope they find out what’s going on and can give you an affective treatment.
