ICD site sore

Hey all.I've had my ICD for almost 3 years now. Just wondering if anyone gets random soreness around the site? I don't get it all the time but sometimes it feels bruised or like I'm being pinched. It's very uncomfortable when it happens, also it can be anytime of the day. I've never knocked it and I don't heavy lift. Hoping I'm not the only one.

Hi I've got dilated cardiomyapathy and I've got s icd fitted I get pain sometimes especially in cold lol

I've never had pain because of cold weather. It's almost like a pulled muscle or trapped nerve. It can be a pain at night time. I've probably done something knowing me and not realised lol x

On the odd occasions mine stings at the site, if that’s the description, sometimes I think it’s when it tries to sort out some arrhythmias.

It feels bruised around the box or like it's pinching. It's probably the way I sit or lay but can be painful and annoying at times x

Most of mine a virtual appointments from my home box. I am due a cardiologist appointment soon so I will bring it up x

I have 1 visit a year and 1 via my box. You can ask your cardiologist. Let us know if you get an answer. I have cardiology April, device clinic in person, in May and EP visit in May. I will ask device clinic in May, if I remember, and let you know what they say x
