Had a nice productive day today getting a blood test over and done with this morning and they said ring next Friday at the earliest for the results!

I felt nice and relaxed when that was over and then called in at my new job with my dbs certificate they had requested and they said they will see me at 8am on 2 April for my induction shifts so thats another job done and dusted!

Back in 2021 I had a phone check up with the gp who had said about a blood test and it was a 6 week wait for one!

Thankfully this time it was only a weeks wait but last time it was a 3 week wait which is a bit much in my view as whilst you are waiting you get more and more anxious!

This is a good reminder of how things have started to return to normalish post C BUT its still not 100% I find the wait times ridiculous and just can't see the justification for 'no GP appoinments for 2 weeks' and 'tell the receptionist your life story publicly' appalling.

In regards to the receptionist asking what the appointments for just give her a general idea to help with the booking or if it's private just make something up!

More than likely the blood test will be fine and with me with the initial gp appointment as it wasn't urgent only had to wait a week for it which wasn't too bad.

That was bad though having to have waited 6 weeks for a blood test but waiting a week I didn't mind so much!

I'm not sure if April's post has been put up, but you might remember I was doing a bit of crochet, well I've made a blanket, then a few weeks ago I started a shawl, I finished it this evening

That is so beautiful. And so intricate.I made some bunting from my crochet bunnies. My 7 Yr old niece has claimed them for her bedroom 😊

I haven't looked or posted on this site for a while as felt it had been spoilt by all the people arguing and whingeing about what was acceptable on the main forum. Sad to see it is still happening when so many seriously ill people are making a massive effort to think positively and not complain about their conditions.
