High, I am 70 yr old Female who has just been diagnosed with angina and awaiting further test for heart. After having read the info leaflet for Glyceryl T, I am quite concerned about taking the spray, as I an underactive thyroid, and other issues that are highlighted as not to take. I spoke to my GP about pressure in my head that I have experienced for several weeks and when I checked on my notes she had written complains of fuzzy head. I don't know if I should take it or not. I don't have any chest pain, just pain in my neck and shoulder. Any advice welcome.

hi I have under active thyroid and have used the spray for 18 months. I only use it when I really need it. It can make you light headed so I would say sit down when you take it. Good luck with your future tests.
it might be reassuring if you had a chat with your the endocrinilogist who treated your thyroid issue, or asked for a review
or aks your pharmacist, they are the experts on medications, their action and interactions etc
Sorry abbout the late response to your kind reply. I don't have an endocrinilogist. I have only been treated by GP. I did contact a pharmacist but all he kept saying was take when you get chest pain, each time I mentioned the underactive thyroid he just ignored it and kept saying take for chest apin. I contaced my GP and was told that all my meds would have been taken into account before prescibing. But I don't have much faith in them after reading my notes after last few appiontments. Sorry to go on but it so frustrating.
