Help needed

Hi its I've been getting what feels like shocks at night while trying to sleep I went for tests at doctors over night monitor bloods then 3 day heart monitor. Hospital for ecg and other stuff the 3 night monitor showed pauses of upto 5 seconds and low heart rate nocturnal bradycardia. Cardiology sent me to Doncaster to have a loop monitor fitted in my chest last year but I'm still experiencing shocks at night nearly every night. Doncaster Cardiology have called me a few times because of low heart rate and pauses but bassetlaw Hospital don't seem to be doing anything. It's very worrying and I'm scared to try and fall asleep as I know what's going to happen. There was talk of pacemaker and crtd to start with last year but can't get to bottom of anything can you help at all please thankyou

Hello. Sorry to hear your having issues. I have just had a pacemaker fitted for junction rthym bradycardia and had similar issues to yours. I know no two people's medical issues are the same but you might feel better if you can discuss your concerns with your GP and your cardiologist. I am guessing you need straight answers and you have a lot of unanswered questions and you deserve to understand what's going on. Just keep on pushing untill all your questions are answered. Good luck
