7 weeks post-stent. I'm on week 2 of cardio rehab and am doing circuits around a local park most days. I've noticed over the past week that I've started having palpitations and just had quite a few on my 15 minute walk. I was walking pretty fast and wondered whether it could be the cause? What have others experienced?

Check your diet first, cut out caffeine all together. I found this was my problem at first. Takes a week to get results. Also try to avoid stress and practice relaxation methods.
Have your ECG reviewed to see if you or getting any extra beats or skips. If this is the cause , if so you probably don't need to worry.
One thought… are you doing a gradual warm up and cool down? Warming up with light aerobic exercise can help slowly bring your heart rate up so that it is better prepared for more strenuous exercises.
Is it your meds? I'm trying to sort out what causes mine. First I thought low blood pressure, then low blood sugar as they put me on extra diabetic type 2 drug dapagliflozin. The doc suggested taking it in the late afternoon instead if the morning, did that but still got palps in the afternoon before taking it. Ok all evening till bedtime then episode after taking atorvastatin and Ramipril. I also take in the morning aspirin, lansoprazole and prasugrel. U read lansoprazole can cause palpitations.
