Heart palpitations

Hi everyone I had my heart attack about 12 weeks ago over the last couple of days I've been having some palpitations off and on thorough the day when at rest they don't last long should I be worried other wise I feel fine any advise would be appreciated

Hi, I'm not a medical expert, but I would day that if you have any worrying symptoms seek some medical advice. If in the UK ring 111, book a go appointment or try ringing BHF helpline. Don't just ignore unusual symptoms. Probably nothing to worry about but better to check than ignore.

Hi Badger - unless you’re a medical specialist, don’t consider yourself a pain when it’s related to your health and wellbeing - they are here for you and would say the same…

Frank here, hallo. "Welcome to the Club". Where you were treated will have given you advice/pamphets and a follow-up visit. Do exactly what you`re told. What you are feeling is common; your heart has had a `kick`...it`s bruised...you just can`t see it.

Relax and learn to use your GTN spray. Ask your doctor.

For the record, my first attack was in `85 and by following medical detail to the letter, I`m still around at 73. A lot of my cardiac `friends` are gone due to being silly. Listen and you`ll learn a lot.

Keep the faith (as they say in the USA).
