Just get out of the house, download a pedometer stop when you get to 2000 then go back. You could just set a timer for 15 minutes and head back. Aim to do 4000 steps or 30 minutes minimum.

Hi Petermagennis , What great idea! I find walking is my preferred way of getting exercise these days, following my developing angina and having stents fitted last year. I belong to a Walking for Health Group which meets every Monday morning in the park near my house. I believe there are groups like these in many parts of the country, not just in Sheffield where I live. They combine an hours walk with the opportunity to socialise.
