I've been on this new wonder pill a while now, it can't be responsible for my improvement btw as i started taking it after my last scan. Has anyone else taking it? Apart from making me pee a lot, i have managed to get my weight down from 96 to 86 kg within 3 months. Im not really experiencing any nasty side effects.Whay are other peoples stories?

Forxiga is the brand name for Dapagaflozin, a search for that will bring up more results. I've been on it for a year now and can't say i've noticed any massive improvement but saying that I don't actually feel as bad as i'm told I am.

The one side effect to watch for is UTI's, it's also a diabetic drug and you pee sugar. It is a diuretic but I can't say I pee more on it although that's hard to compare as I also take furosemide which is the devils work :)

Apart form peeing a lot ,I also take eplerenone (I think that's how you spell it) I haven't noticed any side effects no UTIs oh I have deflated a bit but that's a good thing. My weight has gone from 96 kilos to about 86 from July but that's down to walking 10,000 steps a day or during the bad weather 6000. They want me to get down to 70Kg that isn't going to happen I haven't weighed that since i was 19 I'm now nearly 60.

I'm on Eplerenone as well, that Dapa and 2 others that I forget are what they refer to as the gold standard for heart disease.
