Bypass surgery incoming
Ahhh wow what a great start to new year! Finally you getting your operation I hope everything goes well for you hun x
you will be pleasantly surprised when you get in to the cardiac ward. The staff are well trained to make you feel at ease. I was so wound up beforehand, but fears melted as I entered the hospital.
Waiting for the op is the worst bit, and your wait is nearly over.
Sooty
Hope everything goes really well for you 🤞best of luck with everything and please come back and let us all know how you are doing afterwards on your recovery.
Good luck and hope all goes well.... I will be interested to hear how you find it,I am two months into waiting for a 5 artery bypass (quintuple bypass)
Has it taken 12 months since you were placed on the waiting list?
Thank you, yes i originally got my diagnosis this time last year. One thing ive learned is chase up your appointments, i didnt because in all honesty buried my head in the sand hoping it would go away x
Well thats depressed me.... having to put up with the symptoms for possibly a year or so 😒I had my pre op after 4 weeks on the waiting list so assumed it would be quick, maybe not so......... oh well.
Good luck and I look forward to reading about your recovery.
Hello
I have always been an anxious person and I mean really anxious
When I got told I needed a triple Bypass I was petrified
But if we are told this is what we need then what else can we do as this is what is going to give us a new lease of life !
I am sorry you have been in tears as well as the fear deep down you could aso be feeling relieved finally you are getting it done
Once you are in there and you see how well the Nurses and efficient they are you will feel safe other patients will have either just had it done or be like you going to have it done these Surgeons do these ops everyday and you are in the safest hands you could be
All I can say is if I can do it you can
I am looking forward to seeing your updates and reading about your road to recovery
Keep us updated x
hope it all goes well as I'm sure it will 👍👍 I'm waiting to get on the list but like you half of my head is in denial .but no I will have to have a bypass done eventually to my lad , again keep looking at the positive side .
That's great news that your op is almost here. I hope all goes well & you're feeling so much better asap xx
Wishing you all the very best 💖 and looking forward to hearing from you post op x
Pull yourself together man ! That’s what I kept saying to myself when I was laying in Maidstone hospital on a Saturday morning waiting to be transferred to St Tommys’ for wuadruple CABG. It hit me hard and clear on that morning , I buckled like busted bike front wheel, balled my bloody eyes out 🤦🏼👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻. Felt like I’d let the side down. Was fit & string and boom 💥. Stevie, I’m sure you’ll be fine , wishing you a success procedure and comfiest rehab . I’m only 5 months from Nate and surgery and making a fantastic recovery ❤️🩹. Just about to hit my treadmill for a 5k 👍🏻👍🏻. All best Stevie ❤️❤️
Good Luck Mate, come back when it's all done with the good news!
Hi Stevie. You'll have a new lease of life once you've had your bypass. You'll be running around come springtime!!! Let us know how you're doing when you're back home (my husband had a quad bypass on a Monday and was back home on the Friday).
What a brilliant New Year gift you've got!
Love and hugs. Jan xxx
wishing all the best you will be fine once you are on the ward and before you know it you will be on the road to recovery
