Friday 12 th January 2024, had my first MRI, went well. Had a appointment yesterday with clinic heath team, a review and results from all the test's. Where I was hit with the best news I had for sometime. I was told that the medication I've been taken for the last 5-6 months has improved injection fraction, my % was 35% and now have 51% injection fraction and all over bloods and level are normal And have good stats BP good. It is really great news. My heart failure is controlled, I have tried yo remain positive since diagnosis. So always try to be positive and look after yourself. I like too Thank you all from this forum who gave me great support and advice.

Thank you Deejay62 will do , keeping positive. Best Wishes

Hi, I look at Heart Failure as a work in progress, there's good days and the not so good, so keep at it and hopefully you'll avoid any relapses back into reduced Ejection Fraction range. I'm presuming that your latest EF result was determined by the MRI which is far more accurate than an Echo, so that in itself is a big positive.

Best wishes

Hello Heedio61, yes that is correct the Echo put EF at 35%, the MRI is 51%. I have been on my meds for 5 to 6 weeks. And a cyclists and quite healthy generally and look after myself. I know HF is serious and problematic. Taking the positive. Best Wishes

Hello EmmjayTea. Yes is brilliant news and I am so pleased. Like everyone Diagnosed with HF it comes as a shock, you always think worse case scenario and you have to evaluate your life and illness alike. Glad to bring something positive.

Best Wishes

Peter
