Mis diagnosed

Well after seeing cardiologist after 5 months of being told have permanent AF- I have a hole in my heart, an enlarged R ventricle,dilated atrium,dilated aorta and dilated sinus of valsava and am on wrong medication I can have treatment for AF, but need medication sorted as several can make right ventricle worse!! I am pleased something is being sorted but angry as wasn't supposed to see cardiologist until Feb,but got cancellation. They need to find out what caused what! Tests +++ coming

Waiting for appointments now seems to be such a common thing which I know does not help us but I hope it will help somewhat to your frustration and anger you are feeling that this seems to be happening most places at the moment

However one positive is you did get seen sooner by getting a cancellation and now got a diagnosis and hopefully the right treatment can be started soon
