Is anyone else here taking Nustendi ? my wife had her annual review with our surgery's pharmacist and he told her that her cholestorol was higher than they liked it to be. She was already on Ezetimibe but he's stopped that ( good job as you can't get it ) he put her on Nustendi which is a combi of Ezetimibe and Bempedoic acid , she was OK to start with but now her BP is up and she's having bad headaches....anyone else on theis combi with these symptoms ?

you could ask for advice from the pharmacist, they are the ones who know the most about medication

I started them a couple of weeks ago and seem to be okay with no side effects so far. I could not tolerate statins having tried a couple of varieties and my cholesterol is so high that the doctor felt Ezetimibe on it's own wouldn't work well enough.

It seems not many people are on this medication. My pharmacist said I was the first person he'd had put on it. The doctor said it cost £55 a month, so maybe that's why!

I think raised blood pressure is one of the known side effects.

Hopefully it works, my dr put me on a statin and the side effects were horrible. Im just getting my movements back from not being able to walk from the pains in my legs, i have been on this for 3 days, and ive got a uti hopefully its not a side effect and it's just because I'm not drinking enough. Hope your wife improves.

I have been on Nustendi for 9 months now. Last week I had a trip to A&E with a nasty bout of gastritis, which is on the list of side effects. However, I also have gastric reflux, so that could have been the cause. It's so difficult to know, but am keeping an eye to see how it goes.
