August 2023 I had a pacemaker fitted after a heart attack.
September the pacemaker moved. I called the hospital and was told if I am not in pain everything is okay.
The pacemaker has since moved again and is pressing on my skin leaving a bruise.
No pain but uncomfortable is how I would asses the situation.
Am I right to feel that this is not normal?
Hi, I had a pacemaker fitted in June this year and I still get pain but it is very gradually subsiding. Mine certainly seems to move around first thing in the morning when I wake up but settles back without a problem. I phoned my pacemaker clinic and they saw me with in couple of days and confirmed all was OK and told me that it was still early days and that was about three weeks ago.
hi i have a pacemaker since the age of 17 i am now 52 it is now in my abdomen due to many infections am having to havethe battery changed not long after christmas i no that they can move and can surface just under the skin when it happened to me i had it checked everything was ok and was told if alot of pain they could move it but when its been moved so many times before the only place left was my abdomen since being in my abdomen iv had no infections from Daschund123
