Update on Angioplasty investigation

I’m sorry to hear this Shabana. It’s frustrating when we don’t have a clear answer, especially when it’s regarding something as important as our health. Do you have a family history of heart failure?
All the best.
Tos
My mum had chronic heart failure in her late 50s but she was unfortunately a heavy drinker, smoking and loads of redmeat extra.i have never drunk or smoked I eat meat in moderation mainly chicken.
I’m sorry to hear about your mum. I was wondering whether it could be inherited.
There is something called non-ischaemic cardiomyopathy which can cause congestive heart failure in non-obstructed arteries where there are no blockages. I don’t know the specifics of it, but I have briefly read about it. There is an organisation called cardiomyopathy U.K. which also has nurses you can call to help with questions. I’ve attached the link below in case you wanted more info on this.
Was my exact result as well...I found out that when there is no visible cause they usually say it could have been caused by a virus...I have my own thoughts on the cause of course..am happy to hear that you had a good result and a successful angiogram
Hi Shabana sorry you still don’t have an answer as to the cause of H/F but no blockages or narrowing is good news. Maybe when you speak to your cardiologist they can tell you more. Let us know how you get on. All the best.
