I can’t say I’ve ever heard of eccentric LAD plaques. I really hope this is not something else you have to deal with on top of everything else you have going on this year. Hopefully there are others that can come by with some more info on this. Might be worth contacting the doctor or cardiologist to get more of an explanation.
My mum has mild MR however, it is not a cause for concern at the moment as she is asymptomatic therefore, she doesn’t need treatment for it yet. I believe it is only treated if you are symptomatic.

I think eccentric and concentric describe the shape the plaque or plaque free areas make in your LAD. Hopefully your doctor will explain further or perhaps a call to the secretary who could find out more for you in meantime might help?
Good luck with op, if it’s an issue they will no doubt address it.
The word eccentric means not evenly placed or opposite each other . My guess would be (and it is purely a guess) that bits of plaque are on one side of the artery in one place and on the opposite side elsewhere so they only block one side and allow blood to get through ok. Do what I did and ask your GP for a translation. My discharge letter after a heart attack would have needed a masters degree to understand it .
