I have heart failure controlled by tablets but I do get pain in left arm when laying down anybody else have this problem

If you believe your arm pain is heart related you should talk to your GP. My guess is it's musculo skeletal, or possibly nerve related, but again your GP should be able to suggest causes far better than me.

I have arm pain as a result of my angina so I know that is the cause most of the time. However, if this is a new symptom, I suggest as Lowerfield has mentioned, it is best to make contact with your GP as soon as you can. I hope you feel better soon.

I also have Heart failure and take medication (Almost a year now). My right arm varies from hurting to hurting a lot for at least the last 9 months. I’ve researched the connection with HF and asked my HF nurse. It seems the answer is always the same :”Must be musculoskeletal or something “”consult your GP”. GP says:”Rest it as much as possible “. Been there done that, don’t help. Seems a bit odd that so many HF patients have a bad arm though.
