It might be worth ruling out angina, though there are other reasons for chest pain which are not related to the heart. Has asthma been considered before? My mum has both a severe case of sleep apnea and a diagnosis of asthma which can make the chest feel tight. I hope your doctor’s appointment on Friday goes well.

All the best.

Hiya no it’s not asthma the hospital today had to turn the machine down at there end so hopefully it will be ok later. Thank you you for your time. Hope your mum is ok.

Do you have some way to monitor your oxygen levels overnight, to check the CPAP machine is maintaining adequate oxygen levels? ideally 95+ , are you CPAP or Bipap, the oxygen levels can rule out issues with the CPAP/Bipap, it could be the settings and the pressures need changing or in rarer instances an additional oxygen machine can be attached to the CPAP/Bipap, any tingling in the extremities upon waking?

Hello :-)

This maybe nothing at all but as it is not usual for you then you need to get it checked out

I would not try and work it out myself I would see the Doctor and make sure they do not just say I think it could be this and that if they don't know then ask to be referred it is so much better to get them to check you out than sat wondering what is happening if it just gives you peace of mind it is worth it :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x
