Hi. I had a Kardia before getting my Pacemaker. I have used it since and it appears to work same as previously. I now have an Oura ring that I wear all the time. That is very accurate for HR, SPO2, Sleep, etc.

I have a pacemaker and use my Kardia all the time, luckily I have been in nsr since having my pm fitted 3 months ago, have had a few etopics which showed on Kardia.

I cannot understand why anyone would want to use a Kardia every day. It's a diagnostic tool. Surely you know how you feel, and it's how you feel that matters.

Thx for that folks. I'm asking because despite having had a pacemaker for 8 years, I was diagnosed with A/F at my pacemaker check up last year, I was prescribed Apixaban and told "see you next year". I have since found out that A/F can be permanent or intermittent but how can we know ? AliveCor seem to be saying that pacemakers and kardiamobile monitors are not compatible which I assume is because the p/m may distort the reading but surely an indication of what may be going on is better than nothing.

MarinaTs comment is helpful so I think I may give it a try.

My Kardia app said it might be unreliable after having a pacemaker fitted. Re Apixaban you probably need it regardless of whether AF is intermittent or permanent.

I think my Kardia gives an accurate reading ofmy heart rate and whether it is regular or not post having a pacemaker implanted.
