Day 11, I'm still in hospital, the journey so far has been rough. The dressing is off and the wound is revealed!💕❤️💕❤️

It seems like it was a successful op. Well done for making it through. I hope the recovery is smooth and you are able to go back to doing the things you enjoy soon. You should be proud of yourself!

All the best.

Tos

The scars will fade in time but your bravery strength and pride in getting through it will always be there

Stay strong we're with you in spirit

That’s a neat scar. Mine was much more noticeable at11 days but it healed up nicely and now you would need super sight to find it. It’s a long recovery/ rehab, 12 weeks for me,but I began to feel improvement every two days. Then you get recovered to a wonderful state. And you get your life back.

The operation is over and you have done well you say it has been rough so far what has been happening ?

Your scar at 11 days looks better than mine at 2 years I think that is going to heal so well you will have all on seeing it when it has

Well done! Wear your scar with pride. You’ve have been through a lot. I’m still very proud of my scar even after 14 years and don’t care who sees it.

I’m 3 weeks post op and my scar is starting to fade as it heals - I was hoping for a big red angry ‘lightening bolt’ but no such luck ⚡️

It’s amazing how quickly the body heals with rest and patience.

Wow that's far smaller than I expected. You had an excellent embroiderer.

So glad the operation went well, I think you've been amazingly brave and I hope for a very speedy complete recovery for you🙏🤞

After about 4 months that will start to fade and at 6 months just be a pink line. That's what happened with mine and it looked a lot worse than that ( to me).

Good luck with your recovery.

Happy to hear from you. Sorry you have had a rough time, it’s definitely a challenge but hopefully the hardest part is over. I can’t believe how good your scar is 11 days in, looks like it’s healing beautifully. All the best for the days ahead, fingers crossed that they liberate you soon! Gorgeous pj’s by the way 😊
