CT Angiogram Results (How Long?)

Hi there friendly folks.

I'm managing to keep a loose check on my anxiety at the minute but with my CT Angio coming up this Friday it isn't easy to keep a lid on Brian the chimp who keeps using my Amygdala as a punching bag.

Just curious for those of you who have had a CT Angiogram, how long was it before you found out the results?

On a positive note symptoms seem to be a little better at the moment apart from on Saturday where I for the first time since July had a few beers at a BBQ we hosted (3 x 440ml cans over the course of about 8 hours). Felt fine at the time but when I went to bed my HR was well up and I could feel my heart pounding. Shan't be indulging again for a while!

Right must dash! Gotta take my kids to school.

Cheers,

AG23

I’m waiting on an angiogram as well, hoping it might be in October but not sure when it will be. From what I’ve read you can get results at the time if they see something that needs fixing there and then. I’m sure there’s loads on here who’ve had one and can help you. Try not to worry too much and lots of good luck. Please let us know how you get on

I was given interim results and when they looked at them properly was Sent for an angiogram, about 6 weeks later ( which had to be postponed) as I tripped in our local park and broke my humorous bone

Morning I waited three months for the results of my heart ultra sound and heart CT, I was told when I rang after two months there was a backlog.

I’ve not had any proper results yet, I’ve only spoken with the consultants secretary who told me I’d be having an angiogram. Had my first test in July.

Morning I think it depends on which hospital you are under and how many people are having a CT scan.

I had a CT scan carried out last week and results have already been sent to Cardiologist with an appointment to see her next Monday .
