Sorry I will have to postpone the for a week. It's just been a manic week including four appointments (one a very tiring physio session). The antibiotics I am currently on are not helping making me more than a little tired! Sorry again! ☹️

It sounds like you have had a busy, but productive week! I hope that you are getting some rest and relaxation this weekend.

I am still up (but planning on turning in soon) from watching a college football game on television. I graduated with my doctorate from West Virginia University. They were playing what we call the “backyard brawl” with Pitt University from Pennsylvania. Pretty much the whole state gets gung-ho over this game. We won, so it was fun to watch.

I hope that you can relax and find something that you enjoy doing too. Hopefully, next week may have fewer appointments. 😊

Only two appointments next week; podiatry to change the dressings on my foot and physio to try and get walking better with my prosthetic! 👨‍🦽 - > 🚶‍♂️ What's frustrating is Patient Transport Last week I was picked up early for podiatry and then driven around as they did another job. Not brilliant when you are on a diuretic! 🤣 Then after my appointment I had to wait over three hours to be picked up! 😴💤 Going to work was less stressful! 😘

Hi, Michael,

Patient Transport ( with a double meaning in the name—as in transporting patients and also as In patience—having the ability to wait long periods of time) sounds like it certainly could be frustrating for anyone who is feeling poorly already.

I can relate to the issue of taking the diuretics. I have taken HCTZ for some years. Now, I am trying to go one day with and one day without—sometimes two days without—because of some kidney issues. But, as you suggest, some days, you spend a lot of time in the loo. That would be a major concern with the time on Transport and waiting for Transport.

It sounds like you may have a better week ahead with fewer appointments. I wish you a good week ahead, especially with physio. That should mean a little more freedom in getting around, right? That is good 👍

I am starting Monday off with taking Mom to see two eye specialists in two different locations and two different times of day. Lol
