At the Royal Brompton having been prepped and shaved for the op but the earlier patient overrun so I’ve been postponed until Friday.
Very frustrating but that’s life I guess.
So back home and then back here on Thursday pm.
At least I had a free lunch 😀

Mine was cancelled three times!! I was in the hospital as I wasn't allowed home and it was 21 days before I got the op.
Be patient the results are worth it!!
The delay must be frustrating, but thankfully it's only a few days.

Frustrating but nothing you can do when another patient takes longer. Good luck.
That's a good way to look at things. When my hubby had his quad bypass cancelled 4 times in 2018, we just thought that some poor soul needed medical help more (but inside we were a bit annoyed!!).
Good luck for Thursday and you might even get away with not being shaved again😂.

At least when you are postponed you know you will get there eventually and probably feel for the person whose surgery overran but does not always help the frustration or anxiety to know you are well enough to be able to wait (mine postponed in 2019 x 4 times)
