CABG update

Thanks for all the messages of support and the like.

I’m really not a social media type person as I grew up in an age with humans interacting face to face and I’m hardwired for such communication but this sight is incredibly inspiring and the posts are very supportive - there’s nothing like interacting with people in a similar position as you or who have been through a similar experience.

Anyway, onwards and upwards - hopefully a sunny day today so a bit of gardening, guitar and shopping - with a bit of luck, I’ll find someone or something to moan about in the supermarket 😀

Hello :-)

You are sounding positive which is great to read and I am glad the Community has helped you :-)

Not sure where you are in the UK but after this heatwave we have had no gardening here it is raining and gone really cool now but I am not complaining it is rather nice for a change :-)

Enjoy your day :-) x

I’m in Bedfordshire and it’s a perfect gardening day for us as it’s cooler but dry with rain predicted later this afternoon - have a good one x

Living in Scotland we didn't get it as warm as the rest of the country it was actually very pleasant. Temp is down the rain is on and the nights are getting darker, but on a more pleasant note we are off to Majorca on Friday 🌞char

Onwards and Upwards.... and that will apply after your op. Keep positive and look to the future.

I will think about you on Friday as I drive up to south-west Scotland to climb a tough hill in Galloway with a friend on Saturday. I often wonder how well I'd be if I'd just had stents rather than a bypass op, but of course I'll never know. I might not have been climbing hills at this point in my life. The time to stop will come to be sure, but maybe not until I'm 80.... 😀

Keep in touch after your op. You might have a few questions about best sleeping position etc (never underestimate how good a V shaped pillow can be!!!).

All the very best. Jan xx

I hear you. I thoroughly enjoy the interaction on this site. Many people very kind and well informed. I took a long time to join and my only regret is not doing it sooner, it's a great community and I am always recommending to friends with similar problems.

You are way too young to say you are pre-social media 😂😂😂, embrace the present KaduFlyer and go for it. Enjoy the shopping, we are never to young to moan about that 🤣🤣
