chest twinges, pain in neck

Today I have been experiencing twinges in my chest just above my left breast with slight discomfort going across the breast, along with a dull aching feeling near the pulse in left side of my neck. I have PVCs on and off, 13 percent burden and also mildly dilated left atrium. Currently Taking 120 mg of Diltiazem. Should I be concerned. I don’t feel unwell though. Any thoughts please. Thanku

Hi, probably just muscle spasm.However to give you peace of mind it may well be worth giving NHS 111 a call and see what they say.

Thanku for ur reply. It had calmed down now,but if it starts again I’ll def call 111 😊

Hi there, bizarrely I’ve had exactly the same thing off and on for a few months now. Can be a few times a week , then nothing for a few weeks. No pattern to it at all. Plus I feel totally well, just freaks me out a bit.

I have AF , some LAE , am on diltiazem & flecanide. I spoke to my cardiologist who said he had the benefit of my angiogram in front of him. No evidence of coronary heart disease & couldn’t explain it . ? Muscular? Reflux … but to see my Gp if it carried on.

I have a mammogram coming up soon , so hopefully nothing on there.

Naturally if I felt unwell or it was really bad I’d seek 111 advice or go to A&E.

I’ll let you know if I get any more information.
