Been waiting 12 weeks since initial appointment with consultant at Kings. Am becoming angrier and more frustrated with the wait and lack of communication from the hospital. I'm supposed to check in via an online system every week to report on my symptoms and well being. I do this religiously but have had no response for 4 weeks. I have triple vessel disease but have been put on a routine waiting list as I have good collateralisation. I'm so fed up with trying to live my life with this hanging over me. It's so difficult to keep going and not feel hopeless. Any advice or suggestions to help me get through this.

You posted something similar a couple of months ago, I'm sorry to hear things haven't progressed for you. I doubt you're alone in this situation unfortunately. Not on the same scale, but I've been waiting over a month for blood results.
If this is affecting your mental health, it might be time to speak to your GP about counselling or other talking therapies. Anxiety is a massive part of any cardiac condition and is often ignored. I'm sure folk will be along to tell you their experiences before and after (there's a lot of discussion about mental health in many of the posts). It might not hurt to have something in place so that when you do get your op, you know where to turn.
That's just a thought. There are also various videos on YouTube etc with breathing techniques and meditation that you might be interested to try.
