Has anyone had the pill you just take one to slow your heart

Am very worried about it as the first dose has to be given in hospital in case it doesn't suit you. So must be some severe side effects in some .

Kimmy, you asked this question 3 days ago and had some replies including mine but no reaction from you. All anti arrhythmia drugs are pretty potent and have to be administered with care. It sounds like this could be Flecainide which is normally administered initially in a hospital setting. It is widely used.

Just wanted to know if anyone had tried it and how it went

I've tried it but it didn't work for me. However I do know of many on the AF Association site of Health Unlocked who have found the drug Flecainide very beneficial.

Please don't get too worried about taking this. You won't be given this if there are likely to be dangerous side effects.

You may get more answers if you post on the AF Assoc site.

Best wishes

J

Yes if it is Flecanide, worked for me for a long time. Given in hospital as a precaution, some people have a reaction.
