Results from treadmill test

So a couple of weeks ago I saw the respiratory consultant who requested I did a treadmill test , during the test I didn’t get the symptoms that I get when I’m walking uphill to the school as it’s much steeper than the treadmill was , even though they did increase the angle of it during the test it didn’t mimic the steepness or sowed I walk at which brings on the symptoms . Everything was fine which is good but still doesn’t help with understanding why I get so breathless walking uphill or upstairs when it wasn’t an issue before . Cardiologist said he’d see me after the test but no appointments as yet . It’s ok at the moment as it’s school holidays so I’ll see how things go in two weeks when school starts again . On a positive the consultant said I’m ok to go swimming as I’ve been waiting to get the ok from a health professional to start going again as that’s when my cardiac problems started .

I know it can feel frustrating when you still don't quite have the answers you needed but as far as the test went it sounds positive and hope it makes you feel a little bit reassured

Ahh so annoying when that happens it's always the way 😕. I remember going for an exercise test because I was having palpitations and not once did it happen while I was doing the bike, typical! Great news about being able to go swimming x hope your ok walking up the hill after school holidays? I don't think they increase the incline enough to replicate the symptoms you would get walking up a steep hill x. I had a holter on 4th August and I walked everywhere wearing it especially up steep hills which is very difficult for me so will be interesting to see what it showed.
