Where I’ve previously struggled with not finding my heart condition listed with some travel insurance providers, I have picked up the phone and called them directly to get clarification from them to ensure that I am picking the right policy as I would hate to travel with something that is invalid. Giving them a call with all your questions would be the best way forward I think.
Don’t forget to declare all of your sister’s diagnoses, and any other investigations she might be currently undergoing as failing to do this may well invalidate her travel insurance x
Can you let us know how you get on with finding travel insurance for your sister and her loop recorder please!
I can suffer from tachycardia which is the travel insurance companies classify as arrhythmia……and then the next question is whether I have AF and what treatment am having. I will be interested to know what their take is regarding the loop recorder! X
Hi I went with paying to much. I first declared heart failure which allowed me to add her medication. Then added arrhythmia and chose another form of treatment as loop recorder was not listed i have declared all her other problems ( shes falling to bits lol ) my husband has prostate cancer and a few other conditions and i was £395 for 10 days for all 3 of us which i thought wasn't bad staysure wanted £638
