Morning,

I had my first appointment with a lovely heart failure nurse yesterday. She was very informative and juggled my meds about to help with the retaining of fluid I have. I was also told to drink less fluid, which I was surprised at, as always been told to keep hydrated.

I am feeling much better mentally thankfully.

Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Stradey . I'm so glad to hear your appointment with the heart failure nurse went well. I also found it a little strange to get my head around being always advised to drink plenty of water and now after a HF diagnosis to suddenly be told to stay within a limit of 1.5L max of fluids per day. I'm not 100% aa to the reason why though.

I was told the same as you, when I was first diagnosed, and when I went to discuss heart transplant years after.

So pleased you are feeling better mentally. Sadly there is a lot of mixed messages depending who you see on the amount of water you drink or which way you take Inhalers sometimes. Hope you keep well and enjoy your day. Brian
