Good news on a Friday

So after having my long awaited ( much needed) CPET appointment cancelled with just two days notice I’ve had an appointment and it’s been rebooked for June 2nd, so just two weeks from today , I wasn’t expecting to hear so soon . Very relieved to have it booked not too far from now , thus afternoon I was sitting g quietly and out of nowhere started having an odd flipping kind of sensation in central chest and I felt quite unwell , then walking to the school a couple of hours later I could feel my heart racing . I did use the ecg feature in my watch when I wasn’t feeling great just t see how it looked , pics of ecg attached

Hi Westie2012

I’m glad to hear your appointment isn’t too far away now.

Unfortunately, due to some recent changes, interpretations of ECGs are no longer allowed. If you wanted your ECG reviewed, the best person would either be a GP or your cardiologist. I appreciate it’s the weekend, so your surgery might be closed. It might be worth making an appointment with your GP on Monday if you are particularly concerned.

I will add that if your symptoms get worse and are accompanied by chest pain, please call 111 or 999.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

All the best & wishing you a good weekend.

Tos

We have the sun here in the East of England too, where I am today! Needless to say, sun always equals hay fever for me 🤧.

I’ve suffered with hayfever since I was younger , my symptoms have eased over the years

Mine was always well controlled with over the counter medication like Benadryl. It seems to be doing nothing for me this year though 🥹

I have to take allergy medication all year round , if I miss taking them my eyes itch terribly ,then in the warmer months I need to use eye drops and nasal spray too .

Tos92 in the 5 years I have been on the forum interpretation of ECGs has always been discouraged.

Over the years quite a few members have been removed for persistantly ignoring this guideline.
