Today it is 2 years since my AVR at Harefield Hospital…. It was done during Covid so no visitors whilst I was in hospital and afterwards there was very little in the way of Cardiac Rehabilitation so I went searching online and was so thankful I found Angela Hartley. She is behind “Healthy Hearties” and a trained cardiac nurse as well as fitness teacher so I knew I’d be in good hands doing online zoom classes with her guidance as well as benefitting from her guidance and support. I loved it so much I’m still part of the group 2 years later and we work out and “meet up” online 3 times a week. Angela is beginning a new program next week and for anyone that has recently had heart surgery it really is a fantastic to begin to get your fitness back.
