Had my 1st Phase 4 rehab appointment yesterday having been discharged from Phase 3 a few weeks ago. After chatting with my Cardiologist, the nurses and physios at the hospital and a few people I known who have been through similar I opted to drive to the purpose built rehab centre in Alton rather than use the local sports centres. Took my weight, 11kg lower than when I came out of hospital 🥳, BP, heart rate, height and waist measurements and then had a treadmill test.
All very pleasant, albeit a bit tiring on the treadmill, and I even bumped into some of the physios and nurses who'd done my hospital rehab. I now have my induction session on Saturday when I should find what programme I'll be booked in on.
Rounded the day off with a very pleasant 6.5km stroll in the afternoon with a chap who was in hospital at the same time as me. Amazing how the time and kms slip by with two blokes talking a load of old tosh 😅.
Take care all, today I will be mostly looking to repair a snow damaged fruit cage in our allotment.
