I also was given Amlodipine in hospital for very rapid heartbeat ,thenA fib .I felt very unwell on it ,unsettled and painful stomach pain . I asked to come off it ,and the doctor agreed.I was told it was a very useful drug for my condition, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. My condition gradually improved with high dose Beta blockers and regular use of anticoagulants . I trust you will find what works for you soon Bartokien
