Was prescribed Norandil on Tuesday for angina, 20mg morning & 20mg evening. I am experiencing headaches, light headedness & brain fog since starting this medication. Anyone else having similar side effects & how long did it take the body to adjust to them?

I was put in to Nicorandil a couple of years ago, and had a very difficult time initially. Much as you have, also dizzy episodes and staggering around. GP suggested breaking 10mg tablet half morning, half bedtime, and that worked. Now up to half morning, whole tablet in evening, but that’s still only total 15mg per day. Getting stent fitted this coming week, so may be some meds changes after that, I suppose.

Maybe you could ask to try gradual increase of dosage, to seem if that helps with problems?

Good luck
