Despite doing the usual, sitting on side of bed. I stood up walked to window to see if it had snowed and then suddenly without warning legs gave way once then twice and next thing I know on floor. Just glad I was not on a hard surface or on stairs . Not sure if blacked out. Strong Twitching followed for half hour. I had twitching the night before too . Strange . No dizziness before or after.

First time in my life I have collapsed..

You need to report this to your GP today. Did you sit on the side of the bed long enough before standing up?

Clearly not long enough...

Are you feeling ok now?

Talk to your GP.

Or you could also try 111 but be prepared to have to wait a long time for a response which actually sorts you out rather just logging your call.

I would not ignore it.

Dear You,

Phone 111 now and follow instructions, they will talk you through what went on and will judge if you need further investigations.

Its common with me and still I forget to get up slowly and over I go { very dramatic in the dentist } but as its not common for you then you need to get it reported, first and now 111 then your Drs,

Hope you had your porridge still this morning.

Take more care of yourself please

Kevin

I noticed recently going wobbly at knees throughout the day and my legs are by no means weak . Its probably due to starting entresto three weeks ago.

in reply toHeartyJames

It could well be the Entresto, I am lucking that I have no side effects, what dose are you on? they have just { 2 weeks } put me on the full dose and so far [97/103 twice a day ] no added side effects thank god.

Hope you get sorted soon,

Kevin

Just the starting dose but had my bloods and expect to go up to middle dose. I had no side effects and felt the benefits, although last few days seem to be going backwards, maybe getting used to it. My BP and bloods are ok..

in reply toHeartyJames

Well that's some good new about your bloods, lets just hope that this was a little hiccup.

I agree with you some weeks I seem to be going backwards and I am beginning to think that I have not really seen a great deal of benefit from it all.

Take care

Well I hope things go the right way for you... As they say, got to stick at it. Take care. Just so weird the body suddenly collapsing, but I guess your used to it. I am going to be very careful on stairs..

Because of your heart history I wouldn't leave this definitely talk to your gp or cardiologist about it.

Possibly could be due to starting on entresto three weeks ago. Anyway, heart failure nurse will be in touch later..
