Hi all,I was wondering if anyone had experienced a pericardial effusion, and if you'd be willing to share your experience?
I'm getting odd symptoms following myocarditis and on a waiting list to see my cardiologist, but the wait is quite long and wondering if I should be making more of a fuss.

Hi... I haven't.. i don't think although a nurse from the BHF said based on my symptoms it's worth talking to my dr. My symptoms are.. regular dizziness though only momentary, bouts of pain despite being on colchicine for 4 weeks. I've got an appointment with my consultant on the 20th so will keep you posted. It's so difficult yo known if we're making a fiss or not pushing hard enough. 😞
I know, I don't want to come across as a hypochondriac but it's a fine balance. My pain seems positional mainly, but I'm getting slightly short of breath when I lie on my back and wondering if it's worth getting checked out again.
That's a good shout on BHF though, I'll maybe call them and see what they suggest! Do let us know how you get on 🙂
I don't have any experience with pericardial effusion but I would definitely make more of a fuss if you don't feel right then go with your gut instinct 😉.
