How long to wait for ECG appointment?

I have an appointment to see my GP later today and plan to ask him to refer me for an ECG (I keep fainting and I've already had blood tests).

I was just wondering does anyone know roughly how long I'll have to wait for the ECG appointment? I'm in Glasgow.

I had one on Friday GPs surgery phoned for telephone consolation am and was seen PM same day

Hi I am on a small island along the South coast

I am waiting for a 24 Hour Holter monitor test which here is only done at out 1 local hospital I know that will be a long wait

It doesn't even require a GP to give you an ECG, the practise nurse can give you an ECG in your GP's surgery, and then your doctor can take you through the results, either in person or over the phone.

I doubt you will find a GP surgery nurse that does not do ECG's.

Mine doesn't unfortunately if you know ones (in Glasgow preferably) that do please let me know
