This might seem silly but I have a tooth that I think might need extracting and am wondering if this is OK. I know I will bleed a little more and my cardiac nurse told me I can't stop any tablets until after 3 months.

Yes she just meant one of my tablets not all of them
I suggest you talk to the dentist before your appointment day, and explain your situation and ask for guidance. If you can't stop your medication the dentist may decide, as a worse case, that the extraction be postponed.
I've had a very prolonged discussion (started pre-covid!) about an extraction which is due to actually happen next week. Mine is being done in hospital as two dentists were very reluctant to touch me due to Dabigatran, the doctor discussed with the consultants and in my case they have said to stop it the morning before and the day of the op (which is the same timescale as happened with my ICD insertion).
Definitely double check with your nurse.
For a simple extraction, it isn't usually necessary to stop anti-coagulants (or so my dentist said and it wasn't a problem for me). Your mileage may, of course, vary!
