Hi all, just a reminder to have any symptoms checked out. I had a left side stent fitted in January 2019 and went through the usual worries and stresses with this unexpected procedure. Lost weight and kept up my healthy walking habits along with upper body exercises. All went great until 3 months ago and I found I was finding it a little bit harder to get out of bed in the morning, taking the easier routes for my daily 6klm walk and very mild chest pain on hill climbing etc. Nothing felt really serious and yet I knew something was amiss and was tempted to put it down to getting older. Anyway went to my cardiologist who suggested another angiogram which I had Tuesday. They found I needed another stent in left side a bit below the other stent. The cardiologist said they had noticed a 50% blockage on my last angio but left it to see. It was 80% blocked and he told me the rast of the artery was clear including the right and circumflex. Back on Clopidegrel again for a year.
So glad I went to see him as I was touch and go whether to or not so if you dont feel right get advice.
Thanks all.
