Chest pain again. Should I be worried?

I am 44. Have LBBB and mild LV dilation. Ejection fraction is 45%. Started Ramipril 1.25mg for 2 weeks and now 2.5mg. All was well and I was able to jog, walk fast with no chest pain/shortness of breath. Last week jogging was fine but yesterday I went for a jog same distance as before but I experienced chest pain again, not shortness of breath though. Since then the pain has subsided but doesn't feel quite right. Is this an indication things are getting worse? I'm really worried. No gp appointments today so will try again tomorrow but thought I'd ask on here if anyone experienced this. Not on beta blockers yet until the ramipril gets to the right dosage as I have asthma too.

if YOU don’t feel right, you feel something is different then getting it checked out is the absolute right thing to do. The decision you need to make is do you need to go to A&E - massive wait, not really a problem, taking up their time all play on our mind (shouldn’t do). But if YOU don’t feel right, then get some assurance sooner if you can’t guarantee how quick a GP will be able to see you. If like my surgery soon as you mention chest pain they literally chase you out the surgery to go to A&E. You could try 111? Worry is natural but can exasperate how we feel. Good luck.

Yes i mean any chest pain should be investigated. It may have been onset of angina especially with it being whilst you were exercising.

I get chest pains in various ways but mostly at rest and randomly. It is a worry and they even can trigger off full blown panic with sweating and other symptoms. Its best to get checked out and rule anything major out. If your a 'regular' you can sometimes skip the queue at AnE as they triage you. With chest pains this is sometimes the case.
