Hi. I'm due to go away for 3 months to a very hot area without Aircon or refrigeration. I not on my GTN spray it has a temperature storage range and I'll not be able to meet that range - it will be too hot. Would I be better off with tablets? Incidentally I've not had to use the spray once since a stent was fitted 2 years ago but I'm being cautious!

GTN Spray or tablets?...
I've recently had prescription for GTN tablets. They have to be replaced 8 weeks after opening, and I think they are not as strong as the spray, but could be wrong about that.I found that they take a long time to dissolve under the tongue, as in 20 - 25 minutes.
It probably would be useful to speak to the clinical pharmacist attached to your surgery, they can prescribe tablets.
In all honesty you need to discuss this with your GP. If you needed a stent there is a very distinct possibility of narrowing in other arteries. Also other drugs you are on need to be considered. Since being put on an ACE for BP any temperature above 27/28 floors me.
A number of Heart Stars have also talked of antianginals. I think the main one is a nitrate like you soray, Isosorbide Mononitrate
