If you are concerned speak to a health professional. If your symptoms deteriorate and you feel unwell go to A&E.

Hello :-)

I can only imagine the shock of thinking you were having an angiogram to then come out with 3 stents but at least it was all done in one as where I live our Hospital does the angiograms and then if we need stents we have to go to another Hospital I feel we are a bit behind times

It was a few days ago that you had it done and getting some strange feelings is something so many have but I would phone 111 and ask their advice and if it gets any worse it goes without saying that you go to A&E

Give 111 a ring and see what they say and if you have time please come back and let us know how you are doing :-) x

I can't advise about the feeling of heat, but just to say that I too was surprised when I went in for what I thought was just a test and then told that while they were doing the angiogram, if they discovered any blockages, they would insert stents then and there. The impression they gave me was that they might as well do it while the wire is already in place, and it saves you having to go back and undergo the procedure a second time, so I don't think it indicates anything sinister - you've just been fixed sooner rather than later.
