Mobitz type 1 2nd degree heart block

I have 24 hour monitor results which showed I have the above also heart stopped for 3.5 seconds in the day. The cardio Dr rang to say unless I pass out or faint no follow up is needed. Don’t know if any one else has experience of heart stopping please

I have mobitz 1 type 2 and had long pauses as well as Afib and bradycardia, I never actually passed out but came close so I insisted on some action ! I now have a pacemaker so that sorts the pauses. If it's an ongoing problem for you keep pestering them to do something.

My daughter (34) was diagnosed with Mobitz Type 1 Wenkebach 2 years ago after she noticed an irregular heart beat. It occurs mostly when she is alseep, she has a low resting heart rate. She is healthy and takes no medication and was told no treatment was needed. The long pause occurs with a dropped beat. With a resting heart rate of 45-50 a dropped beat would equate to a 2-3 second pause.

Hi I have a 2nd degree heart block and I am so scared! I am always getting chest pains

If you are symptomatic you need to push for some treatment, I have 2nd degree block and have a pacemaker which stops the pauses in rate.
