I am 6 weeks into my heart bypass operation, been able to walking 8 miles per week weather permitting, but I have notice on more than one occasion do you much and you will suffer, had a 40 minute stroll yesterday been feeling not to bad then this morning bang what a day I have had today tiered aching looking back at post that’s exactly what you told me good days and bad days, I have managed to book an appointment for Local talking therapies they are going to contact me on the 13 Jan it’s certainly the mood swings and mental problems have been very hard to sometimes to cope with, so the talking can’t come soon enough for me
Happy new year everyone
Take care

it’s good what you’ve achieved so far BUT I think it’s about learning to read your body again. The mood swings go with the mixture of drugs you’ve been on and a bypass is a traumatic event, bit like being hit with a bus.
Good to talk, so finding good listeners is very valuable. Take care not to overdo it.
