I have a question 🙌🏼 I’m not planning on going wild or anything. But since my initial diagnosis of Afib and high cholesterol I’ve been on a practically zero sugar zero saturated fat diet I’ve been strict maybe one or two alcoholic drinks at the weekends . Now I’ve got heart disease also diagnosed no stents etc paranoid and freaked out about a plaque breaking off etc ….. How much of Christmas do you fellow more experienced heart gang do ? Do you do some chocolates ? Do you maybe have a couple of drinks ? Do you eat some Yule log ? Roast potatoes ? Smoked salmon breakfast ? I haven’t eaten an egg yolk in two months ! Anyways Mr thatwasunexpected you got me through a dark day the other day … and I’ll be honest the last two days have been hard no sleep and proper worries. I shouldn’t even be typing this I’m watching Christmas tv with my beautiful son ! Anyways. I also love this forum and I should also probably not scour it daily as one other wise heart hang told me. This is my last comment for a couple of days. Happy Christmas heart gang 🙏🏽

I completely agree with you Hrty - what a wonderful, supportive, friendly site this really is. I'm really glad I found it too. Merry Christmas (not too merry though! 😆) and wishing everyone the happiest, and healthiest of New Years yet to come! Carol (my name's appropriate as I was born on 16th December and Mum always delighted in telling me that she got her dates wrong all those years ago in 1959!) - I love Christmas! xox

I was also born on the 16th December ! An auspicious day obviously 🙌🏼

Definitely an auspicious date Dadtoalad - I read just the other day that Beethoven was also born on our birthday, as was Catherine of Aragon, Arthur C. Clarke - oh, and Christopher Biggins among a lot of others 🤣 😅! To our other poster friends here (if the Boxing Day boredom's settling in) it's definitely a bit of fun to google Famous people born on - insert your birth date.

Philip k Dick and Jane Austen also ! I got given a book when I was 18 about people born on the 16th …. We have quite a few good ones on ours !
