Amlodipine Withdrawal Symptoms

Presently into my 3rd day of removing amlodipine as my blood pressure med back on perindopril. The withdrawal symptoms are crazy presently pin prickly over entire body, nauseous, head ache, chills ears ringing, sore tummy and body pain etc. Feels like a benzie withdrawal. Has anyone else experienced weird with withdrawal symptoms from amlodipine? Suggestions?

Never heard of this and know a few people who have come off/forgotten to take it - are you sure it's that and not an infectious illness that's doing it?Or something else?

Do get things checked out properly.

Any withdrawal symptoms from amlodopine are only supposed to last for one or two days. The main ones are headache and blood pressure spike.

Are you weaning yourself off of it or are you doing it cold turkey? I think it's one of those drugs that you have to wean off of.

Went cold turkey because I really couldn't function. Both doctors and pharmacists have varying opinions about how to discontinued.

Take advice from your GP. It could be a combination of having an infection and coming off the medication
