Isosobide mononitrate puffy eye and redness blurry vision

Has anyone started this medication and had an effect on vision ? They said to expect headaches but not this and taking 10 mg only. Any help appreciated.

HI I started it 6 months ago take it twice a day ok in the morning but the one I take at night gives me headaches and have bad dreams but vision ok

Hi. Yes similar experience here with headache but not expecting bad dreams or fuzzy vision but these have reduced as the weeks have gone on - been on Isosorbide for 2 maths - and just the fuzzy vision and red eye in the evening left. Hope your reduces too

I have been on 40mg slow release version for over a year now, I take this first thing in the morning. 1st week or so my vision was a bit blurry but soon cleared up.

I had a dreadful reaction to this. Couldn’t function with bad headaches and then my body came out in a really bad angry rash. Had to stop it. Rash stayed with me for a period of 6 months. Was put back on Ranexa.

I take Isosorbide, it has so many side effects it’s ridiculous! Goggle it and you will see. I tell you this so you know what to look for. I have the same problem but the benefits far outweigh the risks for me, but if I have any new symptoms I look up Isosorbide to see if it could be caused by this drug. Stay informed.

P.S. I’ve been on it 2 years and except for a few mild headaches and the eye issues I’ve been ok
