Excellent article, thanks for posting.

It was interesting reading the comment about salt contributing to high blood pressure. I found three initiatives all contributed equally to getting my blood pressure back down into the safe zone. First was medication (in my case that meant the ACE inhibitor Ramipril), second was exercise and losing weight, and third was moving to a moderate salt diet.

I introduced these three changes sequentially, and it was startling how they were each accompanied by a similar reduction in blood pressure.

Very interesting... looks like it'll be a while til approval if it's not even started phase 3 trials yet
